YOUNG AUSTRALIA 2000

Wade first competed in the Louis Vuittion cup as a mast man for Young Australia 2000. His first taste of professional sailing at 18. This is also where he earnt his unshakeable nickname "Bubs" as the youngest to ever compete, this is probably still the case! There was no shore crew and Wade was a boatbuilder with the team. Long days but an amazing experience!
